The Everly Brothers
$2 Cover Charge
Could you join us, for old times sake, for a ten cent beer, out
on the casino porch.  Betcha we can find some kids from
Assumption or P. J. Jacobs we can talk smart with.
The old restaurant is
not a restaurant
anymore, so you
can't play the
pinball machine
anymore, and win
free hamburgers
And there's no juke box anymore, to play Kalin Twins
"When" or Robin Luke and "Susie Darling" or the
Browns and "Scarlet Ribbons".  But,  Conway Twitty
put it all in perspective later on in the summer of 1958,
with "It's Only Make Believe".  The songs are gone, but
the memories are alive and well.
"Hey Doc, win me another hamburger will ya."
Looks like Ray & Barbara are the first ones on the dance floor
dancing to the Everly Brothers warm up band The Zakons
